Learn Tourism Product-Specific Terms

These Product-Specific Terms apply to specific Learn Tourism products and services. They form part of the Learn Tourism Master Customer Terms and are incorporated into the Agreement.

These terms apply only to the products or services included in your Order Form, Quote, Proposal, Scope of Work, or other written agreement with Learn Tourism.

If there is a conflict between these Product-Specific Terms and the Master Customer Terms, these Product-Specific Terms will control for the applicable product or service. If there is a conflict between these Product-Specific Terms and an Order Form, the Order Form will control for that specific order.

1. Learning Platform and Learning Environment Services

1.1 Description

Learn Tourism may provide access to an online learning platform, learning environment, course portal, branded academy, white-labeled learning site, or related technology-supported learning experience.

These services may include course hosting, learner enrollment, administrative access, reporting, course completion tracking, learning analytics, certificates or completion records, course pages, and related support.

1.2 Access and Users

Customer may allow Authorized Users to access the learning environment during the applicable Subscription Term.

Authorized Users may include employees, partners, stakeholders, community members, frontline workers, travel professionals, learners, administrators, or other audiences identified in the Order Form.

Customer is responsible for determining who may access the learning environment and for ensuring that Authorized Users comply with the Agreement.

1.3 Administrative Access

Customer may receive administrative or reporting access if included in the Order Form.

Customer is responsible for:

  • Assigning appropriate administrators.
  • Maintaining administrator account security.
  • Reviewing learner activity and reports appropriately.
  • Using learner information only for lawful and authorized purposes.
  • Not sharing administrative credentials.

1.4 Platform Availability

Learn Tourism will use commercially reasonable efforts to keep the learning environment available and functioning.

The platform may be unavailable from time to time because of maintenance, updates, third-party provider outages, internet interruptions, security events, or circumstances outside Learn Tourism’s reasonable control.

Learn Tourism does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

1.5 Platform Changes

Learn Tourism may update, modify, improve, replace, or discontinue platform features from time to time.

If a change materially reduces a core paid feature during an active Subscription Term, Learn Tourism will use reasonable efforts to provide a substantially similar alternative or commercially reasonable workaround.

1.6 Customer Content in the Platform

Customer is responsible for Customer Content provided for use in the learning environment, including logos, brand assets, images, documents, links, scripts, local information, destination content, stakeholder information, and other materials.

Customer represents that it has the rights and permissions necessary for Learn Tourism to use Customer Content in connection with the Services.

1.7 Learner Data

Learner data may include name, email address, enrollment information, course activity, progress, completion status, quiz results, certificate records, and other learning-related information.

Learn Tourism will process learner data according to the Master Customer Terms, Privacy Policy, and Data Processing Agreement where applicable.

1.8 Data Export

During the Subscription Term, Customer may request reasonable exports of learner or course activity data available through the platform, subject to platform capabilities, privacy restrictions, and applicable law.

Customer should request any needed export before the end of the Subscription Term.

1.9 End of Subscription

At the end of the Subscription Term, Customer’s access to the learning environment may be disabled unless renewed.

Learn Tourism may retain, delete, archive, or return Customer Data according to the Master Customer Terms, Data Processing Agreement, Privacy Policy, Order Form, and applicable law.

2. Custom Course Development and Instructional Design Services

2.1 Description

Learn Tourism may provide custom course development, instructional design, curriculum planning, learning strategy, writing, editing, scripting, slide development, video planning, assessments, activities, course builds, accessibility review, translation coordination, or related learning design services.

2.2 Customer Responsibilities

Customer will provide timely access to subject matter experts, source materials, brand guidelines, images, local information, destination facts, stakeholder input, approvals, and feedback needed to complete the work.

Customer is responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of Customer Content, including destination descriptions, local claims, statistics, partner information, and images or media supplied by Customer.

2.3 Review and Approval

Learn Tourism may provide drafts, outlines, scripts, prototypes, storyboards, or course builds for Customer review.

Customer will provide consolidated feedback within the timeline stated in the Order Form or project plan. If Customer delays feedback, approvals, or required materials, project timelines may be extended.

Approval of a Deliverable means Customer has reviewed it for accuracy, completeness, brand alignment, and legal/organizational suitability.

2.4 Revision Rounds

The Order Form may state the number of included revision rounds.

Unless otherwise stated, included revisions are limited to reasonable changes that are consistent with the approved scope, learning objectives, and project direction.

Substantial changes, new content, new modules, major restructuring, rework after approval, or changes caused by inaccurate or incomplete Customer Content may require a change order or additional fees.

2.5 Ownership of Custom Deliverables

Ownership and license rights for custom Deliverables will be stated in the Order Form.

Unless the Order Form states otherwise:

  • Customer may use final, paid-for custom Deliverables for its internal training, stakeholder education, public learning, community engagement, and related organizational purposes.
  • Learn Tourism retains ownership of its pre-existing materials, learning frameworks, templates, methodologies, processes, know-how, tools, and reusable components.
  • Learn Tourism may reuse general concepts, methods, structures, non-confidential learning approaches, and generalized knowledge developed through the project.

2.6 Third-Party Materials

Custom courses may include or link to third-party materials, such as images, videos, maps, music, articles, tools, embedded content, software, or external websites.

Customer is responsible for licenses and permissions for third-party materials supplied by Customer.

Learn Tourism is not responsible for third-party materials after they are changed, removed, restricted, or made unavailable by the third party.

2.7 Accessibility

Learn Tourism will use commercially reasonable efforts to support accessible learning design when accessibility requirements are included in the Order Form.

Customer is responsible for identifying any specific accessibility standard, policy, or legal requirement before work begins.

Accessibility remediation, captions, transcripts, audio description, alternative formats, or specialized testing may require additional fees unless included in the Order Form.

3. Course Updates and Maintenance

3.1 Description

Learn Tourism may provide course updates, content maintenance, platform maintenance, course corrections, annual refreshes, or periodic revisions if included in the Order Form.

3.2 Included Maintenance

Included maintenance may cover minor corrections, broken links, small text edits, staff contact updates, image replacements, or limited content refreshes, as described in the Order Form.

3.3 Excluded Maintenance

Unless expressly included, maintenance does not include new modules, major rewrites, new videos, new instructional design, new assessments, translation, major platform redesign, rebranding, or changes that substantially alter the course scope.

3.4 Customer Review

Customer is responsible for periodically reviewing course content for accuracy and notifying Learn Tourism of needed updates.

Learn Tourism is not responsible for outdated local information, closed businesses, changed laws, changed destination assets, or inaccurate Customer Content unless Customer has provided updated information and the Order Form includes maintenance services.

4. Consulting, Workshops, and Advisory Services

4.1 Description

Learn Tourism may provide consulting, workshops, training sessions, strategic advisory services, facilitation, research, stakeholder engagement, workforce development guidance, learning strategy, tourism education planning, or related professional services.

4.2 Nature of Advice

Consulting and advisory services are educational and strategic in nature. They are not legal, tax, accounting, medical, psychological, engineering, or other regulated professional advice.

Customer is responsible for decisions made based on consulting or advisory services.

4.3 Customer Participation

Customer will provide timely participation, access to relevant stakeholders, background materials, organizational context, and decision-makers as reasonably needed.

4.4 Deliverables

Any consulting deliverables, reports, recommendations, workshop materials, slide decks, summaries, or action plans will be described in the Order Form.

Unless otherwise stated, consulting Deliverables are provided for Customer’s internal use and may not be resold, sublicensed, or redistributed outside Customer’s organization without written permission.

5. Speaking Engagements and Live Programs

5.1 Description

Learn Tourism may provide keynote presentations, breakout sessions, webinars, trainings, facilitation, panel moderation, emceeing, podcast-style interviews, live courses, conference sessions, or other live programming.

5.2 Event Information

Customer will provide event details, audience information, session goals, format, location, schedule, technical requirements, accessibility requirements, recording plans, and promotional deadlines.

5.3 Travel and Expenses

Travel, lodging, meals, ground transportation, mileage, parking, baggage, and other expenses will be handled as stated in the Order Form.

If expenses are reimbursable, Customer will reimburse reasonable documented expenses.

5.4 Schedule Changes

Customer will notify Learn Tourism promptly of event changes.

If Customer changes the date, time, location, format, or scope of a live program, Learn Tourism will use reasonable efforts to accommodate the change but cannot guarantee availability.

Additional fees may apply for rescheduling, travel changes, expanded scope, or additional preparation.

5.5 Cancellation

Cancellation terms will be stated in the Order Form.

Unless otherwise stated, deposits and fees paid for speaking engagements or live programs are non-refundable. Customer is responsible for non-refundable travel or preparation costs incurred before cancellation.

5.6 Recording and Distribution

Customer may not record, stream, distribute, sell, or republish a live program unless the Order Form permits it or Learn Tourism gives written approval.

If recording is permitted, the permitted use, audience, duration, editing rights, and distribution channels should be stated in the Order Form.

5.7 Speaker Materials

Speaker slides, handouts, workbooks, scripts, frameworks, exercises, and presentation materials are Learn Tourism Content unless the Order Form states otherwise.

Customer may use provided materials for event participation and internal reference, but may not resell, modify, publish, or redistribute them without written permission.

6. Course Catalog, Public Courses, and Promotion

6.1 Description

Learn Tourism may offer or promote courses through a public or semi-public course catalog, partner learning environment, campaign, email, website, event, or other promotional channel.

The existing materials describe a Course Catalog as a way for users to search, find, and sign up for selected offerings .

6.2 Listing and Promotion

If Customer’s course, destination, experience, or program is included in a catalog or promotional campaign, Learn Tourism may use Customer-approved names, logos, descriptions, images, links, and related materials to promote the offering.

6.3 No Guaranteed Results

Unless expressly stated in the Order Form, Learn Tourism does not guarantee enrollments, registrations, leads, sales, attendance, completion rates, media coverage, revenue, or specific promotional outcomes.

6.4 Content Accuracy

Customer is responsible for ensuring that promotional descriptions, destination claims, offers, eligibility rules, dates, pricing, benefits, and calls to action are accurate and current.

6.5 Removal or Changes

Learn Tourism may remove or modify a listing if it becomes inaccurate, outdated, unlawful, misleading, inconsistent with Learn Tourism standards, or otherwise problematic.

7. Sponsorships and Sponsored Content

7.1 Description

Learn Tourism may provide sponsorship opportunities, sponsored content, branded learning features, sponsored emails, event sponsorships, podcast sponsorships, sponsored articles, sponsored webinars, or related promotional services.

7.2 Sponsorship Benefits

Sponsorship benefits will be limited to those stated in the Order Form.

Benefits may include logo placement, recognition, speaking opportunities, sponsored content, newsletter mentions, website placement, course placement, event visibility, podcast mentions, or other promotional elements.

7.3 Sponsor Materials

Sponsor is responsible for providing logos, descriptions, links, advertisements, talking points, images, videos, disclaimers, and other sponsor materials by the deadlines provided.

Sponsor represents that it has all rights necessary for Learn Tourism to use sponsor materials.

7.4 Review and Approval

Learn Tourism may review, edit, reject, or remove sponsor materials that are inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, low quality, inconsistent with Learn Tourism values, or otherwise unsuitable.

Learn Tourism may label sponsored content as sponsored, paid, promotional, partner content, or similar.

7.5 No Endorsement

Sponsorship does not mean that Learn Tourism endorses Sponsor’s products, services, claims, or viewpoints unless expressly stated in writing.

Sponsor may not imply endorsement, certification, approval, or exclusive partnership beyond the sponsorship benefits stated in the Order Form.

7.6 No Guaranteed Results

Unless expressly stated in the Order Form, Learn Tourism does not guarantee impressions, clicks, leads, conversions, sales, registrations, revenue, audience size, or other specific outcomes.

8. Integrations, APIs, Automations, and Third-Party Tools

8.1 Description

Learn Tourism may support integrations, API connections, automation workflows, data imports, data exports, CRM connections, CMS connections, Zapier workflows, reporting tools, or related technical services if included in the Order Form.

Internal customer-facing discussions show integration questions can come up, including use of API automations and tools such as Zapier or HubSpot .

8.2 Customer Systems

Customer is responsible for its own systems, credentials, permissions, configuration, data mapping, third-party licenses, and compliance obligations.

Customer must ensure it has authority to connect third-party systems to Learn Tourism services.

8.3 Third-Party Limitations

Integrations may depend on third-party systems that Learn Tourism does not control.

Learn Tourism is not responsible for failures, outages, API changes, rate limits, permission changes, pricing changes, data loss, or discontinued features caused by third-party tools.

8.4 Data Accuracy

Customer is responsible for reviewing imported, exported, synced, or automated data for accuracy and completeness.

Learn Tourism is not responsible for decisions made based on inaccurate, incomplete, duplicated, delayed, or incorrectly mapped data unless caused by Learn Tourism’s willful misconduct.

8.5 Security

Customer must not share credentials insecurely or provide unnecessary access to systems.

Learn Tourism may decline or disable an integration if it creates a security, privacy, legal, operational, or reputational risk.

9. Translation, Localization, and Multilingual Services

9.1 Description

Learn Tourism may provide or coordinate translation, localization, multilingual course variants, caption translation, transcript translation, or related services if included in the Order Form.

9.2 Translation Review

Unless the Order Form states otherwise, translations may be performed using human translators, machine translation, third-party tools, or a combination of methods.

Customer is responsible for reviewing translated or localized content for accuracy, cultural appropriateness, regulatory compliance, and local usage before publication.

9.3 Source Content Changes

Changes to source content after translation begins may require additional fees and timeline adjustments.

9.4 No Legal Guarantee

Translation and localization services are provided for communication and learning purposes. Customer is responsible for obtaining legal review where translated content may have legal, regulatory, safety, employment, or public-policy implications.

10. Customer Support

10.1 Description

Learn Tourism may provide customer support, administrator support, learner support, onboarding support, troubleshooting, training, documentation, or office-hour support as described in the Order Form.

10.2 Support Channels

Support may be provided by email, online forms, meetings, shared documents, help resources, or other channels designated by Learn Tourism.

10.3 Support Scope

Support generally covers reasonable questions related to access, navigation, course participation, platform use, reporting, and customer administration.

Support does not include custom development, new course creation, extensive retraining, technical support for Customer-owned systems, third-party software administration, or services outside the Order Form unless separately agreed.

10.4 Response Times

Unless the Order Form states a specific service level, Learn Tourism will use commercially reasonable efforts to respond to support requests in a timely manner.

Response times may vary based on complexity, urgency, staff availability, holidays, and third-party dependencies.

11. Beta, Pilot, or Experimental Services

11.1 Description

Learn Tourism may offer beta, pilot, early access, experimental, prototype, or preview services.

11.2 No Production Commitment

Beta or pilot services may be incomplete, limited, changed, discontinued, or never released as a standard service.

Learn Tourism makes no commitment to continue beta or pilot services after the pilot period unless stated in an Order Form.

11.3 Feedback

Customer may provide feedback on beta or pilot services. Learn Tourism may use that feedback without restriction, payment, or obligation.

11.4 Risk

Beta and pilot services are provided “as is” and may contain errors or limitations. Customer should not rely on beta or pilot services for critical operations unless expressly approved in writing.

12. AI-Assisted Services

12.1 Description

Learn Tourism may use AI-assisted tools to support drafting, editing, research organization, brainstorming, transcription, summarization, translation support, content adaptation, quality review, or other workflow assistance.

12.2 Human Review

Learn Tourism will use reasonable human review for final customer-facing Deliverables created through AI-assisted workflows.

Customer remains responsible for reviewing and approving final Deliverables before publication or use.

12.3 Customer Content and Sensitive Information

Customer should not provide Sensitive Information for AI-assisted services unless expressly approved in writing.

Learn Tourism will use commercially reasonable efforts to configure AI-assisted workflows consistent with privacy, confidentiality, and customer-data obligations.

12.4 No Professional Advice

AI-assisted outputs are not legal, financial, tax, medical, psychological, or other regulated professional advice.

13. Event, Conference, and Cohort Learning Programs

13.1 Description

Learn Tourism may provide cohort-based programs, conferences, live learning series, webinars, training events, workshops, or facilitated learning experiences.

13.2 Registration and Attendance

Customer is responsible for providing accurate attendee information and ensuring attendees meet any eligibility requirements.

Learn Tourism may set registration deadlines, attendance limits, substitution rules, cancellation rules, and participation expectations.

13.3 Conduct

Participants must comply with Learn Tourism’s Acceptable Use & Community Standards and any event-specific rules.

Learn Tourism may remove a participant from an event or program for disruptive, unsafe, discriminatory, harassing, unlawful, or otherwise inappropriate conduct.

13.4 Recordings

Sessions may be recorded if stated during registration, in the Order Form, or in event materials.

Recordings may be made available to registered participants, Customer, or other approved audiences as stated in the applicable program materials.

14. Priority of Order Form

The Order Form may modify these Product-Specific Terms for a particular transaction.

Examples of terms that should be stated in the Order Form include:

  • Services purchased.
  • Subscription Term or project term.
  • Fees and payment schedule.
  • Renewal terms.
  • Included deliverables.
  • Number of revision rounds.
  • Launch timeline.
  • Customer responsibilities.
  • Administrative access.
  • Data export expectations.
  • Maintenance scope.
  • Recording rights.
  • Travel and expenses.
  • Sponsorship benefits.
  • Publicity terms.
  • Accessibility requirements.
  • Special government or procurement requirements.

15. Updates to Product-Specific Terms

Learn Tourism may update these Product-Specific Terms from time to time.

Unless otherwise stated, updates apply to new Order Forms and renewals after the updated terms are posted or otherwise provided.

For active Order Forms, material changes will not reduce core paid services during the then-current term unless required by law, third-party platform changes, security needs, or mutual agreement.
